Medical Director
Dr. Jehangir W. Gowani, MD, FACP, FAAP
Dr. Jehangir W. Gowani, MD, FACP, FAAP, is a distinguished physician specializing in internal medicine, pediatrics, and sleep medicine. Currently serving as the Medical Director at Frisco Quick Care in Frisco, Texas, Dr. Gowani brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to patient care. His career is marked by a blend of clinical excellence, leadership, and a genuine passion for improving patient outcomes.
Early Life and Education
Dr. Gowani’s journey in medicine began with his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Arlington, where he graduated cum laude in 1995. He then pursued his medical degree at St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, where he was recognized on the Dean’s List and received the Ghram Beltz Scholarship. Following his medical education, Dr. Gowani completed his postgraduate training in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
Professional Experience
Dr. Gowani’s career has been marked by a diverse range of roles and responsibilities. He began his professional journey at Kaiser Permanente in Atlanta, Georgia, where he provided urgent care for both adults and children. His subsequent roles included primary care and sleep medicine at Duncan Internal Medicine in Duncan, Oklahoma, and pediatric urgent care positions at Children’s Medical Center and Cook’s Children Medical Center in Texas.
In addition to his clinical roles, Dr. Gowani has been actively involved in sleep medicine. He currently holds the position of Medical Director at Frisco Quick Care, where he is instrumental in delivering high-quality urgent and primary care services.
Certifications and Affiliations
Dr. Gowani is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, with additional certification in Sleep Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP) and the American College of Physicians (FACP).
Personal Interests
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Gowani cherishes time spent with his family. He is an avid traveler, often exploring new destinations and cultures. In his leisure time, he enjoys playing table tennis and pickleball, activities that reflect his enthusiasm for staying active and engaged.

Michele R. Blum, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Michele R. Blum is an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner with over 13 years of experience across various areas of healthcare, including bedside nursing, emergency medicine, general surgery, urgent care, men’s health, medical weight loss, aesthetics, and hormone replacement therapy.
Education
Michele holds both a Baccalaureate and a Master’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington, where she completed her Family Nurse Practitioner program.

Michele has worked in diverse clinical settings, providing comprehensive care to a wide range of patients. Her expertise spans advanced nursing practices, critical and urgent care, diagnostic testing, and treatment planning. Michele is known for her strong organizational skills, efficiency, and ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
Personal Interests
Michele lives in McKinney, Texas, with her husband and their three teenage sons. She also has a daughter and son-in-law who live in Orlando, Florida. Michele enjoys pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, the feel of the ocean, and the taste of champagne.
